I decided to write in my old journal (a real paper journal, not this live journal...but I'm writing here too). Its been a couple years since that last entry. I dunno why I decided to write in it again. Helps to clear my thoughts I guess. i write a lot of random stuff in it. also, its not posted on the internet. More private I guess so I can say more personal stuff. Ah, well, this weekend is going to be busy but fun. Packing up the apartment, pre-release of new magic cards, movies, etc. 'Tis going to be fun.

Its been a while since I posted anything, but then again no one on my friend list has posted anything for a while as well.

Spring break was great, mostly. I took Paul to Hearst Castle for his surprise birthday gift. It was amazing. Everyone has to go there at least once in there life. I highly suggest it. Its a little far but its awesome! The rest of spring break was trying to work on my thesis. I really tried to get the pages done. I am satisfied with what I turned in. Hopefully, I will get it back soon so that I can improve it. Parker also turned in a rough draft of his thesis. We're moving on it!

Just had some lunch and now I am on the computer freezing my booty off because it is really freakin' cold man!!

I should have been working on my thesis paper a while ago but the computer just sounded better.
The computer always sounds better. No work today because its "Lincoln's B-day" which sucks because that means I only work to days this week and I only worked two days last week because of FURLOUGH FRIDAY! I wouldn't mind having a fur coat like Cedar, that way I will hopefully stay warmer then with my little jacket.

I've realized that I miss having my closest friend as a girl. Parker is my buddy buddy and he's cool and all but I really enjoyed having a buddy buddy friend that is a girl such as the good old times with Amanda. I love Parker don't get me wrong...how do I say this? I don't really know how to explain but I'll try using an example, okay? Okay! Say if I'm at the mall or some store with Parker and i want to go look at clothes. He's not going to really enjoy hanging around with me if i get sucked into the clothes world for girls. I guess I'm saying that I want to have a girl buddy buddy to talk about and do "girl" things. Bah....

I also wouldn't mind having a friend that I don't see at school and work almost every single day cause most of the time me and Parker talk about school and work and sometimes I just want to talk about...I don't know what...just talk about something else.
It also sucks that I live away from most of my established friends that are in rosy-ville.

Distance always make things harder to do.

I'm trying to make some new friends that live in Sacramento but it seems that your "real" friends are the ones you made a long time ago and any new friendships you make now don't seem to hold up as long.

Got really sick on Sunday. I was hugging the toilet all night and felt like sick for the rest of the night and early morning.
Yeah, food poisoning. Still slightly sick feeling but it all getting better. I guess I'm really glad that I had today off from work to recover.

Oh, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. How I hate that you make me wait for your arrival. I only wish to enjoy the death and destruction that you both bring. I would cherish thee just as I have cherished your older selves. You look so beautiful with your new graphics and divine upgrade.

I'll be attempting whole wheat bread once I get some honey because the recipe calls for it.
I love making bread. Its so fun!

The kitty is really warming up to us. She is such a sweet heart.
We're thinking of calling her Cedar cause her fur looks like the color or bark.

Me and Paul are official cat owners!
Its my first cat I have ever had as a pet. I've only had dogs as a pets before. I would prefer a dog but since I'm not fond of having a small dog and our apartment complex only allows 15lbs pets, having a cat was the next best thing.
We got her from the Sacramento SPCA and shes about 2 years old. She's really fuzzy and she has a beautiful fur coat.
She does have a cold and we have some medicine for her plus we get a free vet check up in 5 days to make sure the cold it dealt with. She's sleeping alot but she's in a new place with a cold.
Cat sneeze funny but its cute.
She like lazer pointers!
Her name at the SPCA is petunia but we are going to wait and see what she really is like to give her a different name.

I tried to make challah bread but it failed! Failed miserably! I couldn't get the dough to rise because I don't have any where "warm" for it to sit and do the rising. Do you want to know how it turned out? Horrible!!! The bread didn't even cook all the way. It rather burn!!! It was a dense braided chunk of hot dough!
BUT!
I am still going to try and make some short of bread!
It will be done!

I mean come on! I worked in a bakery and made bread from scratch... Of course hey had the cool humidifier room that kept everything at a balmy 80 degrees with 80 percent humidity to keep everything moist while it was rising.
I wish I had a mini one of those then making bread would be sooooooo much easier!

Last January-ish at my last apartment, a tree cracked in half and fell over right outside my bedroom window.
Today, 1/3 of a tree outside my bedroom window broke but, it fell over onto the carport in the next complex pinning a car under it.

First time I didn't go Black Friday shopping in like 6 years.
The sales are good enough for me to get up that early and freeze my butt off.

I went to this Holiday art and craft fair today.
Twas awesome!
It was huge and it had everything from grandma's scarfs to glass/ceramic/candles, oh my!
I love this time oh year for all the craft and art fairs.
So cool to see what people can make.

I'm getting this feeling in the back of my nose that is suggesting that I might be getting sick. I usually have these "pre-sick" symptoms.
Its right about 75% of the time.
So I'll be taking lots of vitamin C and hope for the best.
I really hope I don't get sick cause I was just sick in October!

Yes, another post cause I'm frustrated now.
I actually started to work on my paper except I finished it when I was at work and I saved the finished draft on my work computer and I though I emailed me that copy but I guess I didn't.
I can't really work on it because I changed the draft at work too much than the old version I have on my computer!
At least its not do tomorrow but its due on Wednesday.
I'll still try to work on it.
I'm not letting this from stopping me from working on it but it for sure puts a big dent in my process.

I don't have class tomorrow and my math class on wed is canceled plus my policy class on wed is "research day" and I'm not going to that. I don't think I'll go to school on Wed. I think I'm going to just work all day Tues and wed so that I can make up for the lost hours on Thurs and Friday.

I do however have a geology paper that I must finish but procrastinating seems so much better. Once Thanksgiving "break" ends school will start to fly by. I have a paper that I just got the assignment for today which will be due next Wed that I must do.

Oh, the finals are going to kill me this semester but they always seem to every semester.
But you don't want to here about my school crap.

My computer won't recognize my Coldplay CD and so I can't upload it to my computer. Sucks. I want to put it on my iPod.

I have developed a green thumb. I am growing some herbs: basil, dill and chives. Its so cool seeing them grow. They're in little metal pots that hang over my kitchen sink. Hopefully i don't kill them by overwatering or something.

I bought a screen printing kit. I'm going to attempt to make my own custom shirts. We'll see how well that goes but it sounds really fun. i love trying new things like that. I might even take a printmaking class cause that sounds really awesome but I would really like to get back into the swing of ceramics but I don't think I'll time to fit those classes in my schedule. I'm rather packed with classes till the end. Just means that I probably won't take any fun art classes till I'm done with school...in another year.

Are you guys ready for Thanksgiving and all that freaking turkey?
Oh, all that food. Too much food. Well, at least there will be left overs that I can take home. w00t on free foods!!!

Me and Paul are attempting to put together this humongous puzzle of, can you guess...? an antique map. So awesome. We have the border, the easy part. Now we have to do the middle. Oh, joy!!

I'm going to put purple highlights in my hair soon. I really only have time on the weekends to stuff like that so I'm going to try and do it then. I've never died my hair any color beside a deep red and I thought it would be cool to put purple into it.

Oh, I made banana bread. Notice that I didn't say banana nut bread. I didn't have any nuts to put into it but it still turned out pretty well. Tasted good to me!

I was looking in SN&R while I was on the bus home. They have repo house listings, some are crazy cheap but I guess that because they are rather small, pieces of crap. I'm just amazed how cheap they are still. There's a 1819 sq ft 4bd/2ba for about $25K. I was curious and looked it up. Its one of those houses that should be on "Flip this House." Needs some repairs.

I really like riding my bike. I want to get some baskets to put on it! I'm going to pimp it out eventually.

I just took an exam and I feel that I truly failed this one. I cried! i have never cried during a test. that has to show just how horrible it was. I did the homework! I studied! I did the review problem but BEHOLD!!! FAILURE!

I really enjoy Halloween time but I'm just not really feeling it this year. I blame it on work and school. Its keeping me so busy I don't really have time to think about it or do any of the fun thing that usually happen around this time of year. Plus! I don't know what I want to be for Halloween! I want to dress up and go to work and school in my costume to show my spirit for the holiday!
